Tuesday 17th July

This morning, we started the worksites and in the afternoon we went to Pont-Aven and went karting, it was funny !!! Sorry we don't have a photo because some guys erased them all off the digital camera. In the evenning we went to play babyfoot and we watched a film and had a good night !!!!!

Wednesday 18th July

Today we continued at the worksites making little progress dispite our six hour sentences. One of the groups assembled a picnic area and the others continued the embankment. We travelled to Forêt Fouesnant where we were entertained by the cercle celtique d'Elliant which included four of our french campers. A great night and crêpes were enjoyed by all.

Thursday 19th July

We departed the campsite at 8:30 for our tour of Ilse de Groix, an island near Lorient. On arriving we walked a staggering "short distance" (en anglais 2 miles!!!).We dined on the sandy white beach enjoying our well deserved bite to eat. Some of the explorers among us ventured on to discover the unique beach Les Grands Sables.After our relaxing day on the beach we quickly abonded ship on docking, for our 2 mile sprint across the city of Lorient (some choosing the barefoot option).

Friday 20th July

We had a meeting in the morning discussing the all important camp matters. Then we packed our bags and headed for the outdoor pool for a quick refreshing dip.After that we yet again packed our bags for our next destination.......the stables. After roasting marshmallows we burned our extra energy by a competitive soccer match.

Sathurday 21st July

Given the option to sleep or work the Irish campers leaped out of bed(so to speak)in the early hours of the morning to aid their French friends. Siobhan arrived. We were then informed about the ways of Irish life at Tap Breizh festival. We then got down and dirty in our Tap Dance lesson. Crêpes and music were enjoyed by all in to the late night.
